as a father and a husband, i'm so sorry i wasn't around. i did what i had to, so use my body to fertilize the ground. throw my skin down, the earth will be healthy. use all my flesh, the next harvest will be plenty. spread my organs 'round the dirt, but save my heart for elsewhere. put it in a mason jar, place it by your bed on a chair. use the only photograph of me, as kindling to start a fire. to warm the children, and cook your dinner. use my hair, to make a mop. you can use it, to clean up all my blood. use my bones as hammers, to build a new shingled roof. in life i had no purpose, but in death i have use... take my clothing, make it into a dress. give it to our daughter, you can keep the rest. oh my beloved wife, i also leave you my ring. do with it what you like, it's my most prized belonging. find my hunting rifle, and get my shotgun. lay them on the floor, and give it all to our son. give him my cap to keep him rosy, don't forget to give him my love. i already showed him how to use them, he should return home with a dove. take the recording of my voice, and distort it until it's no longer me. take my guitar, and give it away for free.

your sister was silent, your mother was a brunette. your father ate the last piece of bread, they found blood in your bed. your sister was a radio star, your cousin saved up to buy a motorcar. what are we going to do with you?

poem #1 00:44
if i had a choice between losing my hands or losing you, at least you would be there to feed me with a spoon.

dusting ceilings, mopping floors. washing lockers, cleaning doors. i look outside, i see the world. i see a boy, i see a girl. they're holding hands, but wearing gloves. yeah they're just kids, but they're in love. i look away, it's sad to see other people, happier than me. working all night long, all alone. these empty halls feel so cold. i had a girl, long ago. her hair was silk, her eyes, they shone. we lived in an apartment, i paid the rent. one night she left, i don't know where she went. she never said good bye, she never wrote a note. i became homeless, 'cause she was my home. working all night long, all alone. these empty halls feel so cold.

poem #2 01:46
i felt the ebb and flow of your chest, as you silently drew breath. i felt bigger than ever before. i knew i wanted you forever more. i kissed you on that field of grass. i could smell you in my mask. i knew i was going to try, to be yours for the rest of our lives.
